I am delighted to welcome all of you to the Zanzibar Law Resource Centre (ZLRC).  The Zanzibar Law Resource Centre (ZLRC) is a government’s academic and research institution under the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions Zanzibar. Zanzibar Law Resource Centre (ZLRC) is mandated to provide training, research and advice on legal matters to professional lawyers, public officers and the general public. The Centre is established under Regulation 3 (1) of the Regulations for the Establishment of Zanzibar Law Resource Centre of 2020. The Centre was formally established in July 2011 with an overall objective of promoting and strengthening effective and efficient performance in the administration of criminal justice in Zanzibar. ZLRC has been fully registered by the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) with registration number REG/BTP/014 to provide Certificate in Law and Diploma in Law Courses. In April 2021, ZLRC was awarded full accreditation by NACTVET.
